The Impulse, Chiesi's new innovation initiative is delighted to announce a partnership with NOME, the Nordic Mentor Network for Entrepreneurship. The Impulse and NOME recently entered a partnership whereby Chiesi will be connected with the next generation of Nordic startups in biotech, MedTech, diagnostics, healthcare, digital health and industrial biotech.
NOME is an elite mentoring programme, facilitating long-term mentorship with industry mentors. The Impulse team will work with Nordic startups as part of an 18-month programme, designed to deliver tailored mentoring and consultation from individuals with widespread life science expertise and entrepreneurial knowledge.
Combining NOME's expertise in identifying and nurturing promising life science startups with Chiesi's commitment to collaboration and patient-focused solutions, we hope that together we can shape the healthcare solutions of tomorrow.
In partnering with NOME, The Impulse wants to do more than offer mentorship and guidance to innovators—we want to help bring bold ideas to life and fuel these ideas with decades of industry knowledge and experience.
Chiesi's new innovation initiative The Impulse is delighted to announce the launch of an innovation challenge through an exciting new collaboration with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, or EIT Health, an EU-funded network of best-in-class health innovators.
The innovation challenge drew participation from nearly 30 startups in the InnoStars region, covering half of Europe, including Portugal, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia Slovenia and Romania. The top 6 startups have been shortlisted for potential pilot projects. Chiesi is committed to turning concepts into tangible advancements in patient care, by creating a dynamic environment where promising ideas are cultivated into real-world solutions. The partnership with EIT Health also presents opportunities for collaboration with over 120 leading institutions, companies, and universities across Europe, including Sorbonne University, GE Healthcare, Karolinska Institute and Philips. This partnership aims to blur the lines between innovation and patient-centric care, helping promising ideas flourish into real world innovation for healthcare related solutions.

Earlier this year, The Impulse by Chiesi began a collaboration with Karolinska Institutet, one of the world's leading medical universities, based in Stockholm, Sweden. The Impulse by Chiesi is thrilled to announce a dynamic new collaboration with TechTour, a renowned European investor network, to identify and support promising healthtech startups across Europe.
This exciting collaboration enables Chiesi to engage with a range of different TechTour programmes, in line with our mission to identify and support promising solutions that address unmet patient needs.
In September 2024, The Impulse's Fabrizio Conicella participated as a member of a selection panel at TechTour Growth Health 2024 event. 40 shortlisted high-potential healthcare startups from across Europe, specialising in digital health and medtech, were invited to pitch as well as meet potential investors in one-to-one meetings over the course of two days in Switzerland.
With Chiesi's reach and dedication to patient-centric innovation and TechTour's vast network and expertise regarding startups with investors, this collaboration holds immense potential for supporting startups for meaningful innovation in healthcare.
