That is why we actively listen to patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals, seeking to better understand the realities of living with a disease and to reflect these insights in the way we develop and deliver our solutions.
At Chiesi, we strive to identify and remove the barriers people face when seeking diagnosis, treatment and care, addressing the social, economic and environmental factors that can affect access to healthcare. We pursue this through leading initiatives for vulnerable communities, improving access to our medicines across all geographies and partnering to address inequities no single organization can solve alone.
Health Equity in Action
What stands between a person and better health can look very different from one community to another, which is why there can be no single response to health inequity. Across countries and demographics, we support projects that address different barriers to health and care, working with partners who understand the local context and the people it affects.
From improving access to existing care to strengthening healthcare capabilities and helping people reach a diagnosis sooner, our projects are different in scale and approach, but they share the same starting point: understanding what is getting in the way of better health.
