Andrea Chiesi was born in Parma on July 15, 1967. He is married with a daughter. He took his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology in 1992.
Dr. Chiesi started his career in the Company in 1993 as a pharmaceutical technology scientist. In 1997 he became Project Leader and assumed the responsibility of Planning and Control of Research in 1999.
In 2006 he obtained an Executive MBA at the London Business School and at Columbia University.
After serving in many operational assignments in the R&D, in 2009 Dr. Chiesi became R&D Portfolio Management Director.
Until 2019, Dr. Andrea Chiesi has been President of “Arrigo Boito” Music Conservatory of Parma.
He is Chairman of the Board of Confindustria Emilia Romagna Ricerche and of the cultural Association Footprint and sits on the Board of Prometeo Foundation.
