Trust, Future, Sinergy, Resilience. They are just few of the key words around which the definition of partnership was built during the fourth Chiesi Partnership Day. An event dedicated to the celebration and awarding of Chiesi Group’s strategic partners that have distinguished themselves in terms of innovation, collaboration and sustainability.
For the first year the event has changed name, from Vendors Day to Partnership Day, to underline the true interconnection between all the actors of Chiesi’s Value Chain.
An interconnection based on respect and collaboration that makes Chiesi and its stakeholders, parts of the same ecosystem with shared values and goals: to serve patients while having a positive impact on the planet and its inhabitants. It is thanks to a strong and resilient ecosystem that Chiesi can, in fact, reach its mission.
After the speeches of Alessandro Chiesi, President of the Group, Giuseppe Accogli, CEO, and Davide Borrini, Shared Value & Sustainability Manager, the event went on with the awards presentation to ten partners who have distinguished themselves for their sustainability performance or for the innovation and collaboration that they have proven to Chiesi over the years.
Specifically, the five partners that have been awarded as “Best partner in innovation and collaboration” are: Affibody, Industriale chimica, Cromsource, Holopack e Safeline Pharmaceuticals.
The five company that received the “Best partner for People and Planet” Award are: UCB, IBM, Almac, Lonza e Hyphens.
After touching speeches from the winners, a panel session begun during which Guido D’Agostino, Head of Global Procurement, Pier Luigi Copercini, Head of Corporate Virtual Plan, Marco Rombi, IMDD General Manager, and Giulio Borsari, Sr Alliance Manager shared, from the stage, experiences, projects, and features that have defined the success of their long-standing relationships with the partners. A success built on trust, synergy, active listening, mutual understanding and especially on a common vision: the one of sustainability as the only option for the future of new generations.
Finally, the event was concluded with a video message from Alessandro Carloni, CFO of the Group, who remarked the importance of the creation of value, together with our partners, to serve our patients through co-evolution and mutual support.
It is only by sharing the successes and challenges, the risks and opportunities of this long and difficult journey towards a more sustainable world, that we can truly make a difference, creating a broader positive impact. Knowing that we can count on our partners is what motivates us most as we fight this arduous but indispensable challenge.
