Regeneration 20|3, the first global meeting to launch the program is in Parma on October 15 and 16.

Date: 06/10/2020

The 20|30 temporal frontier is essential: we have no more than 10 years to give a concrete response to the problem of the climate change, while working on a new regenerative model that puts social equality, happiness and well-being of individuals at the center of the strategy, as well as economic growth.

A challenge that can only be faced thanks to the collaboration of a group of global leaders. This is the origin of the Regeneration 20|30 movement, which has recently merged into the Regenerative Society Foundation, an international body that will ensure its governance in the medium and long term.

Among the founders, besides Maria Paola Chiesi, Shared Value & Sustainability Head of the Chiesi Group, Davide Bollati (Davines), Andrea Illy (illycaffé), Oscar di Montigny (Banca Mediolanum and Flowe), the co-founders of the B Corp system (represented by Nativa and Fondazione Progressio) and the Fondazione per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile.

Regeneration 20|30 also counts on institutional partners such as the Sustainable Development Solutions Network of the United Nations, chaired by Jeffrey D. Sachs, the Centre for Bhutan Studies, the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, ASVIS and the collaboration with the European Parliament.

The first important action of the movement was the signing of a pledge document based on three fundamental pillars: Regenerative Economics, Climate Change and World Happiness.

The first official meeting will be held in Parma on October 15 and 16, officially launching the program of global dialogue in order to change the current economic and social model, now unsustainable, in favour of a new paradigm, capable of regenerating people, economy and environment.

The event, physically hosted at the Auditorium Paganini in Parma, is a two-day event of experts and scientists, entrepreneurs, policy makers, built to discuss the three pillars of the movement.
