Chiesi group
During our first Open Day on Saturday, October 14th we opened the doors of all Chiesi sites in Parma to our dear ones. More than 2,000 people came to visit us and discover the Chiesi way of working and living. It was an extraordinary day!
Fostering a sense of community and family within the organization has always been a priority for Chiesi, where differences are considered strengths and all employees are part of the same big family: “Everyone of us is different. Everyone of us is Chiesi”.
A family brought together by a shared purpose: the willingness to make a positive change for our patients, our people and our communities towards a greener and more sustainable future for us and for our planet. We couldn’t wait to show our loved ones what we do every single day to make this happen.
Guided tours of the labs and production sites, patients' experience activities, walks in our gardens and entertainment for all ages were just some of the many options that we offered to make this day even more special.
Due to preserving a company’s investments and know-how, the pharma industry is usually a closed-doors sector, as Alessandro Chiesi, Chair of the Group, affirmed. With this event, we wanted to lead the way towards a new paradigm of openness and sharing, to provide people with a deeper understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and to recognize the invaluable contributions our employees and their loved ones make every day.
It was a beautiful first Open Day and we hope to have served as a source of inspiration to drive positive change for our communities and environment.
